The brief
What the project needed to achieve
Gut Fest needed video that made the event feel professional, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable. The day moved between healthy food, fermentation, breathwork, practical learning, yoga and an energetic dance session. The brief needed several short social videos as well as one longer piece, with limited feedback during the project.

- Several short-form videos built around the day’s strongest moments
- One longer event film that connected the full experience
- Coverage of the food, talks, breathwork, fermentation and audience interaction
- A clear closing sequence showing the yoga and dance activity
Production choices
- Sony camera with a 16mm lens for wide venue and group coverage
- 35mm lens for close details, people and food
- Gimbal movement for a polished sense of flow through the event
- ND filter for controlled exposure while filming in changing light

The result
A finished story that feels like the client
The final edit brought together two very different parts of the day: the polished, professional event experience and the energetic closing dance sequence. The sections were shaped into one coherent story, and the organisers were pleased with the finished work.
